- The competent authorities shall communicate to each other all amendments in their legislations which are of substantial significance to the application of this Convention.

- For the purpose of applying this Convention, the authorities and insurance institutions of the Contracting Parties shall lend their good offices as though applying their own legislation. Such mutual administrative assistance shall be provided free of charge.

- The authorities and insurance institutions of the Contracting Parties may for the purpose of applying this Convention, communicate directly with each other and with the persons concerned or their representatives.

- The authorities, insurance institutions and jurisdictions of a Contracting Party may not reject claims or other documents submitted to them by reason of the fact that they are written in a foreign language provided they are in the official language of the other Contracting Party or in the English language.
