- This Convention shall not affect the application to persons in the territory of either Party of the provisions of the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963.

- Subject to paragraph (1), where any person who is employed in the Government Service of one Party or treated as such is sent to work in the territory of the other Party, he shall be subject only to the legislation of the former Party as if he were employed in its territory.

- Paragraph (2) shall apply by analogy to the members of the family accompanying the persons referred to in that paragraph, unless these family members themselves are gainfully employed in the territory of the other Party.
