Civil Servants, Members of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts

- Civil servants and equivalent personnel of a Contracting State, who are sent to the territory of the other Contracting State, shall be subject to the legislation of the Contracting State whose administration employs them.

- If under paragraph 1 a person continues to be subject to the legislation of the Contracting State from whose territory he has been sent, that paragraph shall also apply by analogy to the person’s family members who accompany him, unless they exercise professional activities.

- This Agreement shall not affect the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961 or the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963.
