- For the purpose of applying this Convention, the authorities and insurance institutions of the Contracting Parties shall lend their good offices as though applying their own legislation. Such mutual administrative assistance shall be provided free of charge.

- The authorities and insurance institutions of the Contracting Parties shall, for the purpose of applying this Convention, communicate directly with one another in English.

- The authorities, insurance institutions and jurisdictions of a Contracting Party may not reject claims or other documents submitted to them by reason of the fact that they are written in a foreign language, provided they are written in the official language of the other Party or in English.

- The diplomatic and consular representatives of a Contracting Party may request information directly from authorities and institutions in the territory of the other Contracting Party in order to safeguard the interests of their nationals.
