- The present Agreement shall enter into force on the date of the exchange of notes between the Contracting Parties confirming that the procedures required by the laws of their respective countries as to its entry into force have been completed.

- As regards the Kingdom of the Netherlands the present Agreement shall apply to the whole Kingdom, unless the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands makes a notification to the contrary to the Government of the Polish People’s Republic on the date of the entry into force of the Agreement.

- The Agreement will remain in force for an indefinite period, it being understood that each of the Contracting Parties may denounce it by written notification. In that case it would remain in force until three months from the date of its denunciation by either Contracting Party.
- Denunciation of the Agreement by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands may be limited to one or more of the constituent parts of the Kingdom.
