- Each Contracting Party may revoke, suspend, or limit the operating authorisations or technical permissions of an airline designated by the other Contracting Party in the event:

- a)substantial ownership and effective control of that airline or of that airline's operations are not vested in that other Party or in that other Party's nationals or in both; or
- b)that airline has failed to comply with the laws and regulations referred to in paragraph 3 of Article IV of this Agreement; or
- c)that airline otherwise fails to operate in accordance with the conditions prescribed under this Agreement.

- Unless immediate action is essential to prevent further non-compliance with sub-paragraphs l(b) or l(c) of this Article, the rights established by this Article shall be exercised only after consultation between the Contracting Parties.
