Article V Revocation or Suspension of Operating Authorisation

Each Contracting Party may revoke, suspend, or limit the operating authorisations or technical permissions of an airline designated by the other Contracting Party in the event:
- a)substantial ownership and effective control of that airline or of that airline's operations are not vested in that other Party or in that other Party's nationals or in both; or
- b)that airline has failed to comply with the laws and regulations referred to in paragraph 3 of Article IV of this Agreement; or
- c)that airline otherwise fails to operate in accordance with the conditions prescribed under this Agreement.

Unless immediate action is essential to prevent further non-compliance with sub-paragraphs l(b) or l(c) of this Article, the rights established by this Article shall be exercised only after consultation between the Contracting Parties.
