Certificates of airworthiness, certificates of competency and licenses issued or validated in accordance with the laws and regulations of one Contracting Party, including, in the case of the European part of the Netherlands, European laws and regulations, and unexpired shall be recognized as valid by the other Contracting Party for the purpose of operating the agreed services, provided always that such certificates or licenses were issued or validated, equal or above the minimum standards established under the Chicago Convention.
Each Contracting Party, however, reserves the right to refuse to recognize, for flights above its Territory, certificates of competency and licenses granted to or validated for its own nationals by the other Contracting Party.
