- Where, under this Agreement, a Contracting Party communicates personal data to the other Contracting Party, that communication shall be regarded as confidential and shall be subject to the legal provisions governing protection of data laid down by the Contracting Party providing the data.

- The use and disclosure of personal data otherwise than for the purposes of this Agreement shall be subject to the approval of the person who is the subject of the data and the person involved in the data and in accordance with other guarantees provided for by the laws of the Contracting Parties.
